Post by: dazmond on February 27, 2020, 06:36:21 pm
Just noticed on the gardiner website that they are discontinuing the only resin they sell soon(tulsion MB115)...ive always found this resin long lasting from gardiners......

what other suppliers do you use for your resin?i used to use pure freedom but i had 2 bad batches off them a few years ago and never used them since.....

I haven't bought any for a couple of years as I stocked up when it was on offer however I find the Unger stuff better than the Tulsion these days.

That’s based on nothing more than I’m sure it lasts slightly longer. 😂

Been using Unger from soapnational for a few years now. I find it very reliable and stable. Used to use Tulsion when it was good but got fed up of getting crap, unreliable bags of the stuff!

There have been different grades of 'Tulsion MB-115' resin available, some are QC batch tested, some have not been -  which may explain why some users find certain Tulsion supplies last longer than others.

If wanting to order Tulsion resin for delivery, once we stop selling it (only 68 sacks left) then we would recommend using Daqua as they supply the same factory source Tulsion that we sell - here is a link - https://daqua.co.uk/resins.htm - they are even £2.83 cheaper per sack than our price  :D

For those local to us who used to collect from us - we have Wintecs just 23 minutes drive away and they also now sell Tulsion Resin - https://www.wintecs.co.uk/water-fed/vessels-housings-resin-and-filters/resin-salt-and-filters/genuine-tulsion-mb115-resin-with-free-next-day-delivery/ - which happens to be £0.05 cheaper than ours  :)

Why have you stopped selling this Alex?

Why have you stopped selling this Alex?

It is part of our continued 'strategic withdrawal' from the Water Purification side of the market.

This will allow us to continue to increase our focus on our own manufactured products and allow us to continue to meet the growing demand for our products around the world.

There are so many more suppliers of such water purification products in the window cleaning market and generally that such a move should not inconvenience too many we hope.
