Really shoddy, especially as the windows open fully to allow cleaning from inside the building.

Come on we have all worked like this in the past
Any old timer will laugh and joke about the risks we all took the unlucky will tell of their accidents
10 grand is a lot of fines
Next time the custie says I don't want the brush on a stick ........

It was probably the favoured method of cleaning by the employees due to making the job quicker to do along with easier as not having to go inside and possibly getting slowed down by shop staff moving furniture etc and I expect the employer turned a blind eye to this for his own reasons. Not condoning what was done and I bet he now wishes he'd stuck to his later risk assessment and ensured his workers stuck to it.

we dont live in the 1980s anymore mate....the bonkers thing is......is that these windows could of been cleaned FROM THE INSIDE!HE EVEN HAD A KEY! ::)roll
