Very weak solution of course  ;D

Did it work? Does it bubble up?

Whenever I’m softwashing, the mix goes all Over the windows, doesn’t really do much, even after rinsing off.

Still needs a good scrub, I wouldn’t bother personally...

Because with all the rain we have had the frames are green with algae. I did wonder if a very mild bleach solution might keep it at bay.
Knowing there are a few hypo fan boys on here I thought surely someone would have tried it.

Hot or cold water will very quickly clean the frames as you well know.
If its a first clean, then any type if detergent may help speed the process.
Bleach/hypo is a bit extreme and will do nothing on plastic to prevent the fast return of it, sad to say

Oh yeah, it’ll defo get rid of the algae on the whites. But then again, it’s a piece of cake to clean off algae on window frames with just the brush and water...

i really hate the smell of bleach so i wouldnt use it......hot water helps with cleaning off green algae.... ive noticed more green frames and sills than usual too due to the damp weather.

I wouldn't.

Too weak a mix, will get washed off by the rain and have no affect.

Too strong a mix and you are in danger of turning the upvc orange.

More to the point, too much faffing around.

I use a mix of bleach, fairy, all purpose cleaner and cream cleaner on first cleans or upvc.

I call it daddy's blend for some reason.

Yes we do if it’s a first clean and bad and when softwashing a property do it as a matter of course
