60+ for commercial.

I travel for a couple of days work  about 18  miles for some domestic stuff. Its about £60 an hour and makes a nice change (rural, river setting, great payers) who wouldnt?

10 miles is the furthest I travel at the moment(commercial)....most work is 5-7 miles from home(300+ jobs).i dont take on any work that's further away.only exception would be a very large well priced house/commercial job..but that's never happened in 27 years of window cleaning.....

I dont see the point in travelling too far....I want short, compact days then head home...less fuel used and less wear and tear on the van.i put no more than £35 a week in my van and that's using a diesel heater every day too....

I don’t like travelling any further than 3-4 miles now, I’ve just passed on my last bit of work I’ve had since I started that was about 5-7 miles away, all great friendly quick cleans but it was killing me sitting in 30-50 mins of traffic every month thinking that’s time I could have gotten 2-3 cleans in locally!
Now I’m saving fuel and time but I can understand people travelling if it pays, we get a lot of lads coming into my local area of Stockport from as far as oldham Bolton liverpool or crewe etc so they must live in either bad paying areas or too saturated but stockports getting pretty hammered with windies the last few years!!

The vast majority of my work is well within a ten mile radius from where I live.
I certainly wouldnt travel further for only a small amount of customers. However if the work is good and you can build a days work or more, taking into account travel and running costs to get there, then why not!

For roof cleans/render cleans or pressure washing jobs then certainly

About ten miles/20 minutes on largely uncongested roads.

I work north-west of where I live out into the countryside. If I were to work south east just five miles I would be in traffic through Bristol and right through the proposed diesel ban zone.

Have a couple of commercial jobs that are 70 miles away. Priced exceptionally well and cleaned out of hours which makes the travelling a breeze.

Residential stuff is all within 5 miles of home.

Easy 60 odd miles for well paying softwash jobs.

30-40 with good commercial.

I keep my residential local.

For window cleaning I would say about 5 to 10 miles radius.

Although I have a round 30 miles away as a well.

For one off jobs, I would go to Australia for the right money. Cash up front.

I would 500 miles and then...

Just to be the man that walks a thousand miles to clean a door...

In answer to question 15 miles is as far as I travel for window cleaning work but would travel up to 25 miles for carpet cleaning work.
