Title: Christmas time off
Post by: The Jester of Wibbly on December 11, 2019, 07:14:39 pm
When do you all plan to break up for Xmas?

I like to take 2 weeks off over the festive season,  my time to rest up during the cold snap.

Finishing Friday next week,  if long all goes to plan.   Then back two weeks on the Monday.  Simple

Have a proper one then?

Skip working 23rd and start  back 6th will give you an extra week off but you’ll only lose 3 days work. You’ll start back refreshed and your staff will be more productive.

Good on you 👍

I’d do the same but I have 2 offices to clean on 3rd, then a small school to clean on 4th. I’ll probably be ready to get back to it by then tbh. I had a full week off in October so still feel relatively rested.

Been a last minute change of plans, due to sickness in family we waited till last minute before booking but then it turned out that we waited too long 😥  so now off to kenmore.
Nope no ginger wigs or pubes nor any hats or typical Scottish accents by the english lol.

Last one, i promise.
Kenmores club, where we are staying. Highly recommend!  Our accommodation sleeps 6, with 3 en suits, full kitchen set up as well, with washing machine, dryer, and a dish washer and a proper coffee machine as well!
(Lol we really dropped on as this only cost us £50 a night for the place! )

Looks lovely m8 where’s the nearest airport I’d fly up there it’s just told me it’ll take 12hrs 37minutes to drive so I won’t be doing that even with a couple of stops. I’d fly and hire a car.

Might be an idea.
I know last time my family had a week near glasgow but I had to stay behind n work till i knocked off early to join them. Went up by train, which took slightly longer than driving, but it was stress free!
This drive according to google maps was about 6 hrs but with three kids it took about 8 hrs with stoppage time n plenty of stress.
