£5 so far for me 😂
I kid you not, back in 2007-2008 we’d get £6-700.
Since then I’m getting around £100.
Times have changed!
-
I’d tip my window cleaner too if he was charging me a fiver 🤑
-
Nothing for me, I think last year I got about £50.
To be honest I don't care I'm just looking forward to 2 weeks off work.

If I get to £200 happy
In my previous life in printing industry ended up with nothing
Maybe just a forced fun company do

Bottle of red wine and an extra tenner BACS payment from one customer today. It seems very slow this year. I don't think people are even thinking it's Xmas yet.

Are you new to window cleaning?
When I 1st started around 15 yrs ago I got nearly £500
Lucky to hit around half that now 😶
-
Started in 2008 lee. Was a bricklayer recession hit so started window cleaning part time aint looked back. Love it.
-
I've currently received 2 bottles of red wine, a box of roses and £165.00 so far. its never expected but greatly appreciated. I had over £400 last year and bought a GoPro 7 black with it for an upcoming holiday. forgot to bloody pack it though 😩

Hasn't anyone told you those tenners aren't legal tender anymore ;D

Barclays still take them over the counter :)
And, you can always take them to bank of England in London, who will exchange them. A £10 is always worth £10, even if its been updated 6 times since then, and the BOE will always exchange for the latest notes / bank transfer :)
Back on topic.... bugger all so far, but we don't have many domestic customers.

Doing ok so far. I'm on target for the usual amount.
I've just treated myself to some Hugo Boss chinos in their sale with some of it. Plus a pair of Sebago deck shoes. You can't go abroad looking scruffy can you 😎
-
I’ve had to open another bank account 😮
-
£220, 4 bottles of wine and a couple of boxes of chocolates. More than happy with that considering I only have a small domestic round.
-
A customer gave me a jar of Jam today as a Christmas tip.
FFS!
Please help!
I must be doing something wrong! (http://www.cleanitup.co.uk/smf/1576613772_angry.gif)

I had to laugh today. Old couple (lovely people) His Mrs came out to me and said "don't go mad but have a beer on us" and gave me £1, I thought to myself I definitely won't be doing that ;D. I believe she genuinely thought that would be enough

-
£184 for me, but I only have 90 customers. just Monday left to work this year.
I only have 1 serial late payer, a church I have been cleaning for 18 months, drop a card into the treasurers house the day of the clean and have to chase payment every single time.
-
I have had £150. It has declined with the increase in cost if living. But a tip is a tip we’re not waiters/waitresses we earn a decent wage.
How many of you tip others? Postman, bin man .... 😬.
-
I tip postman bin cleaning guy etc I give chocolate or drink to to others like the coal man and the garage lads if we get takeaway the delivery driver gets a decent tip. I personally don't keep any tips that we receive when we are out cleaning they go to the employee ( my daughter) I get the odd tip in Christmas cards from some customers that still post cards and occasional online tips. It's not like years ago but I dont have to go out collecting anymore so don't see many customers face to face . That's the way I prefer it ;D

We have a oil fired boiler for heating & hot water dazmond, but we also have a stove in the living room that burns coal & wood,
we get coal delivered in the winter months, lovely and cosy especially this time of year. :)
