Hi Iv taken the plunge and I am now trying to get my customers to sign up to go cardless.
At the minute I offer cash, cheque, card, online, bacs and PayPal but want to just use go cardless.
Iv posted letters with the link for them all to sign up but so far none have made the move.
I thought it would have been a no brained from them they don’t have to worry about bills running up etc or having to go online every time to pay.
How long does it take to get them to sign up and what other methods do you use to get them to do it after I have now posted letters explaining all the benefits

a few of us have covered this already in the current thread on collecting below. i have given a detailed description of what i did.
the simple thing to do is to make the decision right now that all new customers will pay by DD and have to set this up before they can book in their first clean.
with the rest of them, it takes persistent effort to ge them to switch. i would say about 1/3 switch pretty easily when you ask them to, 1/3 sill switch if you are persistent and chase them up, and the rest resist changing in many ways so you have to find a way to get em!

As above.
Ive ran a couple of incentives each time ive ran flyers with existing customers. Ie, half price cleans or a free clean when register and still I have many previous customers who are stuck in their way.
