Can’t believe what a Rodney I’ve been for some years now !
Have been using a 10 year old 40 foot carbon from Facelift that in it’s day was top notch , but by today’s standards was pants , but I just kept using it to save the spend .
A few weeks ago I treated myself to an SLX 35 , ok it’s not an Xtreme but it feels like one to me ;D ;D ;D
I will say it again , Me......PLONKER !

Mate, the poles we use are game changers.
Especially if health issues are creeping in.
What’s your everyday pole?
Extreme 18
Extreme 25
Extreme 47.
The best combo in my opinion for residential. Trust me, your back and shoulders thank you for it, and I’m in only 31. 😬

I’m the same age and only use xtreme poles and brushes. Can’t beat them.
Good on you for scrapping the old facelift though rich. That’s progress at least 😜

I have SLX 18 for 90% of my work and the SLX 35 I break down to a 27 for the other 10%
The other sections sit in the van and get used every 2 months .
That’s all I ever need or will need so SLX’s are good enough for me !

I'm 51 and that's what I use also with extreme brushes 👍

Yep! Lol ;D
I understand why some, (mention no names), have the attitude that if it isnt broken dont fix it! Yet it does not mean that it can not be replaced with something better.

I’ve always known that better was out there but as it was only used at full stretch every 2 months I chose to soldier on like the big hard man I am ;D
Then on the last clean of the retirement complex I do I just stopped dead and asked myself
“What the feck are you doing”. ::)roll ::)roll ::)roll

Only problem ive found with Gardiners extreme poles is that the clamps are a very bad design for a full carbon Hi Mod pole.
They cause very excessive wear around the top sections.
Thats why im hanging over to the Phantom Hi Mod Pole next time.
-
Regardless of he clamps the gardiner pole will outlast the phantom by a long way in my opinion (I don’t mind either clamping systems)

your round must be mainly made up of tinpot houses then with no extensions/connys and skylights if an 18 footer does 90% of your work richy(and your only a little fella!)........ ;D ;D
i need a 25 footer every day(and im 6ft 2in! with long arms!)for most of my work......

I’m 6’1” Daz and I have loads of connies on the round big blighters too !
I use a swivel which helps no end
