I’ve just looked on a couple of well known suppliers sites and have seen the vast majority if not all of there new brush range only accommodates cold water users, anyone that uses hot water knows it’s better but we are running out of choices when it comes to brushes by the looks of it 30 degree water is no good for me I’d like to see brushes that can handle hotter water.

I have just kindly been sent an Xtreme sill brush in the stiff variety , and I think it’s going to be an utter winner , only done my own with it so far but it gets everything with very little effort when used with the swivel .
And I must add that those brush bumpers are a stroke of genius, whoever thought of those should get Gardiner poles free for life ;D

They are to stiff m8 they are like bass brooms, they need to start doing brushes that keep there shape with hot water any hotter than 40degrees kills em.

What are you on about ? too stiff? if you are using properly hot water then you need the bristles to be stiff !

They don’t need to be as stiff as they are my water is over 60 degrees but I still like a bit of flop in the brush without it deforming flat
-
It’s such a limited market, I doubt they would recover their costs designing one specifically for hot water ;D
Hman should be of help to you ;D

Lol we don’t need Herman s half baked rubbish thank you , Gardiners generally do a stiff brush in most of there range that’s designed for water up to 75 degrees ,

You should be grateful, us cold users have far too many brushes to choose from.

I think our "nige" is a little slow - he's only been using hot 10 years only now to notice there is no suitable brush ....

The good brushes last no time at all with hot water,I generally turn mine round when they lose shape the hot water tends to make the bristles on the bottom of the stock seperate from the others.
I will ordering some of the new ones out next week see how they compare,I know with cold water they are very good but not with the hot 🥵.

Are you sure your hot water is not at 600 rather than 60 ?
mine is usually around 60/70 and extreme stiffs have been lasting me at least six months !

This new Xtreme stiff sill brush does seem to be tougher than any other stiff I’ve had :-*
I have now ordered a medium one to try out , once my water gets to 40/50 at the brush head I start knocking the settings down a bit anyway.
