The lightest brush possible.....so you want an extreme brush for cleaning at height....

I use gardiners stiff sill brush.

I used to years ago however it's much easier with an xtreme brush....

Xtreme all day long, every day, all year, all the time and on weekends.

I find the sill brushes much easier for fascias and soffits as they cover much more area so its quicker.
Xtreme brushes lasted 5 mins for me  before all the bristles start falling out and that's just on windows they would be knackered even quicker on fascias.

The extreme stiff lasts much longer than the mixed one.

each to their own but theres no way its easier using sill brushes at height for f/s/g cleaning, you cant get up between the gutter brackets/fascias as effectively, never mind the extra strain on your upper body using a heavier brush...... ;D

I use a DA applicator for around the brackets works a treat.

I find medium supreme is OK. I would go for the dupont version if buying one now. Lighter than a sill brush.

I use an extreme for everything from first cleans to fsg.

Weight is the most important thing imo especially when at height or angles such as fsg.

A sill brush might have better coverage but is much harder to use over the day and thus more tiring which slows you down anyway...

It's good to have different brushes in your arsenal but I'd be getting the lightest flocked brush for fsg if I where to only have one.

I use the Xtreme stiff for F/S/g cleans fitted with fan jets. I found the fan jets do a better job than pencils , with a wider spray to spray off the dirt marks after scrubbing, especially good on the wider style soffit.
