A good few years ago now. They tried to sell off their remaining stock on Ebay then that was that.

Guess the market for suckers dropped off.

There were a few that tried to follow the Ionics business plan and charge over the top prices. Ionics seems to have survived whilst other didn't. I'm not sure what the problem was with Ionics and what led to their demise. The only item we bought from them was a Shurflo back pack. My son dropped it and it cracked.  I quite liked their Denver skid tank but when I saw the weight and their cost I decided to pass on it.

I remember going to there place in London to get some bits when I first went over to water fed in 2007.

They were really nice guys that I met, and helped install a 400L tank in a crew cab pick up that I started out with and twin pumps.

Yes it was a bit expensive but at the time there wasn't many places about.

Dam heavy alloy poles as well, with a like twist fitting to hold sections in place.

Still remember coming away from there thinking I've done well here and a smile on my face.

It was the start of my wfp journey after a long time trad.

Good learning curve
