Pole pipe? I'd recommend Gardiners Green "pole hose", good with the univalve as well if your using one. Depends on water temp though!

I like all of gardiners products but the green hose is a  nightmare tangled hose all day, I am going back to yellow braided reinforced hose off ebay just my opinion.

Got to agree there  - I binned my Gardiners red pole hose when I got their green but I find the hose manages to grip *everything* like a horny, hungry boa constrictor. I've used it warm and cold and it's the same story. It's nice and light and is wearing really well but man, does it get annoying.

I use a green 6mm soft tubing I get from local koi shop I've used it for last five years it's so useable in winter and summer it's a dream don't get no leaks it seems to be tuff you can also buy it in 100m spool .
