Yesterday I purchases two Ova 8 poles made by Streamline,I was thinking of getting them for a while and so I took the plunge.
Like all carbon poles ,they dont come cheap and can honestly say they are one of the best poles I've ever used and I've used them all.
No more spinning,re glueing clamps and all that nonsense so if anybody is thinking of getting one,do it !!!!
Really happy with the design and rigidly of these poles, very light and top quality. ;D

So you've used them for 1 day and there the best poles ever ;D
-
So far could be,Can you feel it!!! ;D ;D

would like a review 6 months down the line - when the feel good factor has evaporated
;D

Time will tell as I have been disappointed in other leading brands 6 months down the line.
The non spinning action alone is just a start.

Would be good to see a comparison with another well known pole at some point so we could get a better idea. Weight, rigidity, balance etc.👍

No pole what ever brand is going to spin when it’s one day old , the proof of the pole will be in 6-12 months time once it’s been worn in a bit

What is its weight like compared with an SLX or Xtreme of the same length?

Very true but because of the shape of the pole sections it's less likely to spin,it might however slightly move after some wear but it's common sense really.
As for rigidity like most poles the longer they are the more chance of bend but don't find much difference in weight or rigidity compared to my SLX and Ionic poles at the same lengthy, the ,SLX could well be lighter and rigid but I really can't tell, thats my opinion but others may think different.
That my opinion anyway,

i know a window cleaner whos got one.....to be fair it seems ok(robust etc) but its heavier than an SLX so im out......heavier poles just means a harder working day......
