Me: Window cleaner calling tomorrow!
Customer: Sorry but you're too soon, it should be every 6 weeks.
Me: I gave you a written quotation with 4 weekly service upon it, I've been cleaning your windows and you have been paying by GoCardless every 4 weeks for the last 12 months and I've been running a 4 weekly rota for the last decade. I'm right on time. Thanks ( A bit abrupt I know but it really hacks me off when people tell me my own business).
Customer: Oh forget it...I'll do my own from now on!!!
Me: No problem.
You can see these things coming, the last 3 times he never bothered to say hello, except for the last time when all he said was "Don't do the door-it leaks" and shut the window. It's obvious he'd just changed his mind about the 4 weekly service but why can't people be upfront instead of playing these childish and transparent games?

No Domestic tomorrow, I've 2 well-priced pubs I do each Sunday. One of them I trad with a pole which I like doing, both in and out in an hour.
I ve been bringing the profits up as I want to remortgage when I hand my return in August. So employing wouldn't help that. I do want to do something after that, probably try employing and hope I can convince the employee to buy a franchise?
What are you doing?

Customers can choose if he wanted 6 weeks let him have it.
Why get shirty about it.

Customer got crappy, not me mate!
If you have 400 plus customers all on a 4 weekly schedule, each area visited on the same day then why would you go from one area to another you already did which could be up to 10 miles away for one customer
?
So to answer your question why not let him have it? Because it'll cost me money in the end and I'll probably end up doing the job for free at the end of it.
Why would you let him have it?

God knows mate tbh, one minute im employing someone, next im not lol cant seem to make my mind up... i find working solo boring and hard work full time, i find employing easier physically but just as time consuming and draining mentally....
Thinking about starting up something entirely different soon.

Because, six weeks, later the round will have moved to another area and his day's route will look like this.
