Hi, has anyone got or used the Prochem steemeasy 400? Looking at getting one used but want to hear what you lot think of it..
-
I have had two and i have nothing but praise for them just wish they were still making them.
-
Thanks, so do they work in the same way as the powerplus, and how often do you get yours serviced?
-
I have had a couple inthe 80s but mine only had one vac so when ichanged to the ninja i found the cleaning power better.
-
I think they were (or still are) the biggest selling extraction machine of all time :o
-
Thanks, its a toss up between getting a new powerplus or the used steemeasy you see.. it has a new pump and vac too..
-
The power range of machines would give you better performance than a steemeasy, you mention the powerplus which is the largest one in the range unless you need the extra capacity i think you are better of with the powermax.
Twin vacs 100 psi pump optional inline.I used to have a cheyanne too big and cumersome for the performance. only my opinion though.
-
I see, just that this Steemeasy is £500 with new 100psi pump new vac and heater, the powerplus is close to £1600. Was hoping to get the cheaper option and when i earn a few quid i could get the Powerplus and use the Steemeasy as a back up..
-
In that case dave do as you say get the cheaper machine then get some cash togeather then upgrade. Just check the steameasy for any cracks to the body work.
-
I still use the 400 now and have never needed two vacs or more pressure then 100psi.
I service the machine myself no problem go on buy it and have a go contact me if you need any help.
-
Thanks Spickandspan, your not the guy selling it are you? ;D
Seriously though what should i look out for when viewing the machine, also there is a Cheyenne going for a similar price, he says it has a new 135psi Flojet pump (doesn't mean much top me as just starting!)
Any advice would be great. :P

Hi again,
What can you tell me about the Ninja 400? Are they any good and anything to look out for in a used one?
