the reason i wanted said brush was for 3 storey work which has deep recessed georgeon windows which cannot be done without a lot of brush bashing

Hi Dave
With a deep sill, what I have done is on the Ionic brush with the ujustable neck, is to unscrew this and add it to a nother one to give you a longer reach over sills.

Roy it is more down to the bristles have to penetrate deep rather than the brush head, i have tried putting 2 of those connectors together on one job, how do you keep them straight and lined up , it was a nightmare for me to use especially at 30 feet.
I have a seperate gooseneck pole which i use 80% of the time

At 30ft I use Ionics 30footer but I also carry diffrent sized Goose necks (I have one that I only use Twice a year for three windows cost a packet but without it could not do the job i.e Last cleaned in and out £450 out side due Now £150) it pays for its self plus its one more item to stick in the van

the red around the vikan brush just pulls off all you have to do is cut it with a stanley knife and pull it off as easy as peeling an orange , i have done it with mine no problems and makes the brush 10 times better no more red marks.

dave it is so easy to take off give it a try.
to buy a new one you could get one from gardiners and the jets from cleantech i have just bought 4 fan jets from cleantech and i asked them to make them very small . they have done and you wouldnt believe the water i have saved , i use my backpack on the first setting and the other day believe it or not i cleaned 25 windows with 7ltrs of water some of these were downstairs windows so i could check them and they were fine.

Gaz,s Swivel Brush is a little dude!!!!!
very accurate at all sorts of silly angles.
I use one on an unger style pole (Cleantech 18 footer with 2 extra Unger sections to 30 foot) with an angle joint.
The brush itself tilts and the angle joint gives the extra reach over deep sills.
I have one job a flat above a shop. The windows are kind of behind the sign of the shop wich the angle joint lets the brush go over.
