Economic, egonomic, make your mind up Herman. Try ergonomic maybe?

Have you made it with a carrot?

If you got it into production, how many do you think you’d sell?

First not selling anything.
This is to show a better way to use window scraper.
Unless it has been done before.
Please enlighten me.
Made with a carrot ??
Think you maybe need glasses.
So spelt something incorrect big deal you knew what is was.

I doubt it’s ever been done before ......... with good reason. It’s pointless. A standard scraper is flat, simple and fits in your pocket perfectly and hardly ever gets used unless you’re in to builders cleans. I have two in my pocket all the time, unobtrusive and quick to change blades. What next? A pencil on a swivel?

Once again you have the bull by the tail.
If you had watch the video which doubt.
You would of seen what we were taking about.
Nothing was said about unobtrusive and quick to change blades.
So is that it???
What next? A pencil on a swivel?
No not a pencil jet but a sprayer connected to a Wagtail.  ;D

Sorry for late reply was preoccupied with someone that didn't understand the concept.
Yes all scrapers are good that is not the problem here.
It is the handle that is not very ergonomically to hold in the hand when using.

There is nothing remotely different, intuitive or game-changing in that scraper.

Herman have you considered coming up with something that at least takes some thought?

How ironic that the advert played before the video was for Grammarly.

You won't get any revenue from 35 window cleaners clicking on your link.

Its debatable what you'll get but you get the idea from the screenshots below.

H Man wont be retiring after  persuading the patent office his carrot is a glass scraper.

No - not interested in the slightest- it’s 2019 not 1999 - things have moved on mate, you may be able to make something diy cheaper but for the time and faff put into it I’d lose triple in lost wages on the tools

Everything you put up is either out of date, or now made professionally at a reasonable cost

There's a YouTube video if you want to find out.
Be fair to HMan, will you? He's just trying the carrot rather than the stick approach to his videos.

I’ve just invented a waterless high reach system. It’s called a shammyonastick It reaches to five storeys easily and utilizes your current wfp equipment. Still in the prototype stage and waiting for patent approval so I can’t say too much but I think for the cost of a zip tie it could revolutionise the industry. Watch this space.

Read this from quote does it sound right???
Closed-minded people are judgmental, opinionated, and full of criticism. There is an inspirational quote going through the Internet that says, “The problem with closed minded people, is that their mouth is always open.” These people have an answer to everything without ever participating in a true solution. They have no idea what anyone is going through with challenges and obstacles. They open up their mouths and give way to uneducated and obnoxious ideas. They are ignorant, self-righteous and demanding. And, they know no wrongdoing.

I would be worried that the grip section 'could' catch debris underneath it and potentially scratch the glass.

That is felt type material.
Thought that would be better then having the handle it self rub on the glass.??

Sad to see this forum dragged down. There was a time when it was full of innovation and progress. Gardiner poles as well as many of the software packages were born and developed on these pages.

Many people put their heads together to developed the tools we now all use everyday. It was good to see people cooperating and helping to push an industry forward.

I have used hman s tips and saved myself hundreds of pounds by making up some of the tools he recommended from scrap materials. In fact I was able to knock up a customised gooseneck wfp gutterspike the other day thanks to hman. It cost nothing and earned £££.

If you don't see something you like on here just jog on to another post, negative and derisory replies are no use to anybody. It brings the forum down, generates I'll will and bad feeling and is simply a waste of every bodies time and effort.

So it might of been better is I got a standard window scraper then converted it with similar grip/handle
The next video will have this.
Plus show how it was done.
