How's everyone doing haven't been on here for a while, im really looking to change how i clean outside of gutters{neck hurts to much afterwards}, can any anyone put a link up or suggest best/lightest pole and best jet wash machine or does anyone have a better way, just need to make this part of job a bit easier now, cheers.

Keeping it simple.
Backpack or trolley.
Cleaning agent (either TFR or more radical/extreme "hypo" ::)roll)
Light agitation
Good rinse off
Using a DA applicator; spray head on the end of a pole.

and a light brush if need be but stiff/flock.

cheers Nathan that does look interesting for putting cleaning agent on gutters i use virosol, i just thought pressure washing setup would take all the scrubbing work out of the job because it really does my neck in now , im looking for easy to use pole and best jetwash machine any suggestions on them.

I wouldn't pressure wash gutters - the pole will be really heavy compared to wfp and thats before you start trying to control the thing when you pull the trigger
you also run the risk of getting water into the eves and loft space

cheers smudger i here what your saying and can see there can be problems with a pressure washer, what about a mobile system where hot water comes out not at high pressure, maybe 50% less, is there anything around like that you heard of.

Good advice
The DA applicator is a fantastic bit of kit,the light green nozzle is great for gutters and fascias..I use the other nozzles for applying hypo to drves/patios.

Not really, even at. lower pressure the hydraulic hose is going to be more weighty than wfp

I hate cleaning gutters and facias these days. So I always put a high quote in.
I find a gardiner (or whatever make) backpack sprayer with a bit of bleach and some soap in, sprayed onto the gutters/facias, then a light scrub and rinse off is easiest.
The bleach does most of the work for you. You do need to bare in mind plants etc though. But it is much easier than scrubbing away like mad man with an achy neck.

xtreme pole and an old extreme brush, very hot water and your chemical of choice in a backpack......no need for a special nozzle etc as you just swap pole back to your main system from your backpack once you ve applied some chemicals.....
if g/f/s jobs are causing you that much grief then just concentrate on maintenance window cleaning and skip(or pass on) the add ons......

I told myself if I get anymore of this type of stuff I’ll buy the pole kit,it gives jet wash power on a WFP,way way quicker although messy way of doing it super quick.
-
NWH, could you let me know what kit your talking about.

If your neck is that bad, don't do them.
Build yourself a nice little bungalow round...assuming you're not in the middle of a large city!
-
Dont do it , one of my custies had some drongos in to clean his , within 5 minutes of firing up their pressure washer he had water pi55in in through his light fittings upstairs :o :o

If you must do it these are from Streamline Systems !

Ok cheers for advice everyone, i will keep doing the way i am as customers like them done, but i think it's time to put the prices for them alot higher that will get rid of a few and i wont mind doing the others if the pay is better cheers
-
I saw a chap on you tube using a pressure washer to clean inside the gutters. Just blasted the grime out. He succeeded and had clean gutters.
But i cant see the neighbours being happy nor the customer with all the mess in her garden afterwards.
;D ;D
It also suprises me how many clients try and clean their conny roofs with a pressure washer and wonder why its leaking afterwards ::)roll ::)roll

That's madness!
So if the pay is better, you don't mind screwing up your body!!!!
Don't do any!
I have a window cleaner friend who, last year, did all my soffit cleans. I could trust him not to poach the custy.
He was happy with the extra money and I was happy I didn't have to do them.
It's a win/win situation.
Every now and again he takes me out for a meal and pays for everything...i'm happy!
Focus on the regular (EASY) cleans.
