When you delete a thread would it not be courteous to send an email to the author to explain your reason why you deleted it? I'm finding this site a tad tedious recently. If I lived in North Korea I could understand the censorship we have on this site.

I know it's late, but try and keep up. I had a thread deleted which I thought was funny but hitler didn't so he deleted it.

You're not supposed to think your own threads are funny; others do that for you.
And I didn't know Hitler was North Korean.

Sorry but why should they?

All they’ll get in return is whining and arguing about how your tedious thread was oh so funny/ only a bit of a laugh / other pointless justification and how they are Hitler for deleting it.

The mods don’t have to justify anything to anyone.  Nobody is forced to come on here. If you don’t like the modding then it’s simple, don’t come back.

There are so many idiots on forums (this one included) why should the mods have to engage with them? If they are busy deleting pointless threads, GOOD.

Lighten up Pete its not all about you, if all the rest of us only wanted boring then there would be nobody left on here and the boring forum would be full to the rafters, I can understand non window cleaning threads being moved to another section but the bad moderating decisions on here tend to come from a certain moderator's inability to be impartial.

That said its a job I couldn't or wouldn't want to do so lets not be too hard on them.
