Post by: cleaniac on March 28, 2019, 01:41:42 pm

Ive been busy today, so ive only just caugt up on the last thread whichbis now locked.
Theres a mix of reactions here isnt there, but then, thats what this forum and others are for. It would be a pretty boring live if we all had the same drive and same paths to get there etc.

Half the problem isnt what is being said but how it is perceived, plus the manner in which its said.
Im not interested in growing my business into multitudes of vans, but if it wasnt for this forum I wouldnt have even considered it to be a possibility. It has also made me reflect on my business and has changed my viewpoints sometimes. So even though I dont have the same drive as some, i do however appreciated reading peoples threads on doing so.  However theres a fine line of it being done so as an example and help, to that of blowing their own trumpet and directly or indirectly putting the efforts of other people down.

I don’t think opening threads to tell everyone how much you love lee helps anyone.
Nobody cares, if it bothers you that much , ring lee up and go for a beer with him.

it seems that the mods like to block any thread with the mention of Lee Pryor in it...……….. why? what is their problem?

I agree, can't see the problem with the last thread. There was some valid, constructive points that were put across in a peaceful way.
I think it was the most peaceful Lee Pryor thread in history!

I think it's because the subject has become open to negative comments in the past and often ends up a contentious topic. And also we don't want to have to keep checking in to make sure it hasn't taken that turn - quite frankly the issue has become repetitive and a bit "here we go again".

It was pointless because Lee said he was no longer posting on here; his decision; shouldn't we respect that?
What's the point in asking if he's coming back? You'll see he's online, talking about himself, if he does return.
If not, I'm sure we all have our memories.

That's just being lazy!

Spot on!  ;D

And the next thread that gets started on the subject will get removed as well. Might be wise not to try either for the reasons Forum Admin have outlined in the post further up this thread.
