Title: Chemdry
Post by: Neil Grainger on June 29, 2006, 07:57:44 am
Anybody else noticed that Chemdry have taken out Sponsored listingings on Yell.com.

All five of my area's now have Chemdry as Sponsored listing. Something tells me that the People how cant clean have done a deal with yell for national coverage.

Comapines are not even from this area, One is from Oxford  30 miles away and the other is From Slough 20 miles away. I thought that only local companies could advertise on the left hand side.

Cheers

Neil

See your point Steve but i just gets me that Yell just change the rules as to who can list where and when.

I paid alot of money for my area's and picked area's with low coverage from other cleaners and then companies from miles away can suddenley list where they want. This was against the rules I thought.

Yet again Yell are a bunch of money grabing wan.ers

Hi Guys,

When I first started Yell ,2.5 years ago listings were all in the middle.

Then out of area went to the right hand side, this decreased my number of calls.

Lately sponsored listings have taken over reducing my calls still further.

When I told the rep I was not renewing Yell he was incredulous and even when I explained he still couln't grasp it.

I think Yell are being greedy.

Cheers

Doug

As I have mentioned before you will see more and more Chem Dry advertising as they are being pushed hard to build up their carpet cleaning side of the business.
