Tulsion resin in 11 litre di lasted 8 days with tap tds of 40-50, average 650l per day.
It's a bit shock horror from being pretty much part time on the glass and a vessel lasting months.
I'll be ordering more resin today/tomorrow but the two vessels have a slightly different thread so ordering a new head and riser might not fit one or both vessels.
One vessel has the twist fit into the head and I think was from Daqua four years ago maybe a Spectrum (I've sold a few so don't remember for sure) and the other was from Wcw two years ago and is glued inside as opposed to the twist fit as sold by Gardiners.
So to some it up is the resin usage correct and if not will the Gardiner heads fit one of the vessels.

Change resin brand. I had the same a few times, changed vessels etc it was Tulsion resin- it's so hit and miss i don't buy it anymore.

That was the first bag of Tulsion I've bought for over a year as been using Canadian stuff, but it's hard to compare as it's now a two man setup and changed to di before the tank.

I use Unger these days, it's very stable and reliable. I'm not particularly a fan of Unger especially when it comes to wfp but the resin is good. It's my opinion that Tulsion built up a reputation supplying top quality resin initially then took the p**s and now supplies crap riding that wave! I have 16 years of DI only experience and resin usage records thus believe I can speak with confidence.

If you are DI only my advice is to fill tank with tap water and purify on-demand. Water flow rate Vs resin volume makes a difference.

Going to give unger a try myself next time too. Worth a trial as fed up of Tulsion's mixed performances.

I've got fresh resin in one vessel and I've ordered two bags of another brand so I'll see how things add up.
Going by the usage I should be changing the resin on 12th Feb and I'll add up the water usage for a fair comparison. If it's the same I'll change heads and risers or buy new vessels.

I think I need a new TDS meter - after RO ( a capful) is 009 .
After RO ( half a capful) is 004
After resin is 001
Transfer to tank in van then TDS coming out at brush end is 000!!
