Well went priced a house other week £15 first clean then £11 every 4 weeks,She was happy , So went to do them but too frosty so text her to leave gate open next day ,She said okay as she was going on holiday and would pay me when she got back .So done the job text her i had been ,All ok week later text her to say they are still to pay ,Im still on hols will do when i get back .So few days later got text saying she wants to cancel as they are to dear and doesn't like being chased for money ??? ??? ??? wtf . Cheeky so and so only paid the £11 not the £15 so text her and she paid the extra £4 ,What annoys me she was happy with the price why just not say at the time :-X :-X :-X :-X

What do you expect?
She told you she was going on holiday and your texting her for money a week later when she was on holiday still, if you wanted to get paid quickly why do the clean when you knew she was going on holiday ;D
-
Ive had this problem before, agree and pay for first one then want to cancel as too expensive.
Think horrible idiots some of them >:(

Youve also got to be reasonable and build not only a raport with the customer but you also build up mutual trust and respect.
Your customer has only used you the once and has nothing more to go on. This second clean, she told you she was on holiday and you had a choice to make. Either to clean them and let her pay you when shes back (people can either have 7, 10 or 14 days away on holiday) so have some patience. Or simply say enjoy your holiday and i will leave till next time.
You chose to go ahead and clean and was peristant on payment of £11 or 15 quid. Would it have hurt to wait given the fact she told you.
I understand how stalls should be set up how you intend to go forward but in this case its shot you in the foot, sad to say. Lessons can be learnt or simply blame the custie. But if she did pay when she returned would she have fired you??

Why did she mention too dear then?
She wanted a one off, I'm almost certain.

Easy excuse a bit like my hubby is gonna do them etc etc. She did finish by saying being hounded whilst on holiday. It wouldnt have hurt waiting for such a small payment unless really tight for every bit of money to come straight in.

Some people don't like pushy people. It's not the cost, it's about attitude sometimes

True.
Her feeling like she was being chased, deciding when she would pay as a new customer and then deciding that an agreed price is too dear isn't the sort of attitude that I would like from a new customer.
Why couldn't she pay before she went away?
And if she cancelled for being 'pushed', she was never that bothered about a regular clean.
She wanted a one off, I tell ya.

I got to it before the mods. While I have your attention P @ F, I help out with a local homeless charity that has one guy in a caravan on some farm land. His heating has packed up and they are looking into using a planar as they can't get a caravan engineer to go near it as its used as a residence. Do you recon this would be ok inside the caravan with the exhaust vented outside or better with the full unit outside with the hot air vented in? I'm a bit concerned about carbon monoxide. Sorry to everyone else, I know it's not cleaning related.
-
Planers , Erberspachers , and the Chinese copies all come with base plates that should be fitted level with the floor surface , therefore meaning that exhaust out , air in and diesel in will in effect be outside the caravan meaning no chance of CO2 or any nasties coming in , as long as it’s done by a person with sense it will be a doddle , the unit will perform better inside and vented properly , also a 5 kw version is by far the best option for a caravan type space, also running any of the versions out there best to be run at full power for 10 minutes before switch off , this reduces the coking up greatly .
It’s times like this when I would give my time to help !

One message is not exactly hounding

Mate customers try it on, don't fit what your looking for, just move on.
Plenty others out there.
-
That’s why you should always give a first clean price, which you did. So all is fine. Annoying, but move on.
