best month ever earnings wise this january for me....a nice 4 days off now........
all the working in the crappy weather conditions in the last few weeks has paid off....... 8)

Jan was our 2nd best ever month. We were on track for our best but then the weather got in the way at the last minute. Im still very happy.
I also like to compare months to the previous year. This year Jan was up £16k and dec was up £20k on last years numbers. This is what really makes me happy.
When it comes to earnings I pay myself a fixed wage right now so always earn the same regardless. My cleaning team on the other hand all grossed the equivalent of over £30k a year in Jan. Our highest earner for the month grossed a £33k equivalent. I am very very happy with this as it helps retain the good staff. Our main goal this year is to only add 1 more van but also increase the current vans workload to keep that average up. I hope to be able to say my team are the best paid staff in the uk residential market (employees not franchise).
Of course im happy to not say that should anyone else be paying more haha ::)roll

my van is booked in for a service monday morning.its 2 years old now with just over 7k on the clock......
im not sure whether i should bother with such low mileage but it gets a service every year regardless....

Actually it was the best ever week. Get your facts right numptyber. Why not try to be more positive this year rather than such a negative person all the time. Better yet if you dont have anything nice to say then dont say anything. To me your just another keyboard coward that hides behind a fake name.

Err, hope you don't mind me saying but this thread is about a "great start to the year". So why shouldn't any forum member - including Lee - post about their start to the year either?

I started back on the 7th, got the whole month completed apart from 3 calls I had to catch up on Friday 1st
But, only 2 not today’s for the whole month. I cleared out all the NT’s last year.
Takings were up on last January
