Title: Extrme v1 /v3 sections compatible?

As above really , i have a 35ft v1 extreme and the top few sections are badly worn , do the v3 sections fit does anyone know?

I asked Gardiners about this a year or so ago, they arent compatible. They told me section 4 and above are if I remember correctly but the lower sections are not. Mk 2 spares work with Mk 1

Hi Robert

Basically if you were to replace the top 4 sections with X3 sections then this would work.

Alternatively you could just replace them with Series-2 sections which are fully compatible with the series-1 Xtreme poles. Thank you Alex , it’s the top 2 and to a lesser extent the third section so that would be fine .
