hello folks
looks like I will be cleaning a new building,it has approx. 30 windows on the 4th storey,it will be every 3months it requires cleaning, any advice on which gardiners pole I should choose to reach this? slx 47 is good budget wise as is smax 50 then again theres the superlite 46,the pole would be used solely for this job but unsure which one to choose, any suggestions and advice would
be really appreciated,thanks in advance.

30 windows every three months is not a lot of windows use for a high level pole. So getting a good value pole would probably be a greater priority than maximum ease of use.
My thoughts would be:
1. Could you buy some extensions for your current pole?
2. If you do need a new pole then the Series 2 Supemax45 poles are on sale at £490+VAT - this really is good value for a 4th/5th storey pole.

Ha , that is a bargain , I remember 8/9 years ago , I bought a full carbon Facelift that was about 6kg for £821+
Ahh the good old days ;D ;D ;D ;D

That was only 42' , the only good thing was the first clean paid for the pole twice over !!

just get a super max 50 that way u can take on more high level work its suprizing when u buy a big pole how the high jobs just start rolling in

Hate high jobs make better money doing low level work

Yep , got rid of all my 4/5/6 floor work a long time ago , mind you it was that or asking for another stroke !

I have a clx 27 with an extension so about 31-32ft.
It's horrendous to use lol but only needed for about 4-5 odd windows per month.
Like Alex said for the odd few windows probably just worth getting the cheapest thing that'll do the job rather than worry about getting the very best.
I had considered buying an extreme 35 but it's silly spending a grand when a 25 will do me 99% of work. May as well just dump the 2-3 customers than spend all that for an odd job

Extreme 47 ......anything else will be too whippy and too heavy....then u can add solar panel cleaning and larger window cleaning jobs to your round when they come up......

Only thing I found with my Supermax compared to the SLX is the sections are slightly longer and so I find it a little difficult to extend. Great pole though.

Typical Daz eh😅
He wants a pole for one job
Extreme 47 £1065plus vat against the supermax 500 plus vat
We're not all 5 star WC's you know😅😅😅
My old Supermax 47 does me for high stuff

I used to have a SUPERMAX 40 and it was terrible for cleaning solar panels and velux on 2 storey roofs, the bend was atrocious and it felt very heavy in use,ok on straight up windows though......i soon sold it on....
if your gonna buy a high level pole you might as well buy a decent one, this is where the most strain is felt cleaning 4/5th storey windows, with a cheaper pole your going to risk a shoulder injury IMO......
I bought my 47 footer in the sale gardiners had a few years ago for £850(old style clamps)....

Agreed for solar panels, I wouldn't buy one for that.
He only wants a cheapish pole for straight ahead windows though
Gotta be honest, I earn next to nothing off solar panels, doesn't seem to be a big market for Panel Cleaning in my area
I like easy stuff, I'm an old duffer
