Post by: dave0123 on January 16, 2019, 02:25:22 pm
What's the best rubber to use in the liquidator squeegee? theirs a couple i have tried so far is the Moerman rubber, ettore, unger. the unger didn't want to close out properly, ettore wasn't great left lines, moerman rubber was ok but it wears out fast.

With the original end clips I use unger green clips but the new end clips I found good straight out the box.

got some of this razor red rubber, finding am  having problems with this as well. Seems to leave lines across the glass fan lines only just put the rubber in. Seem to have the same problems with other rubber too right at the end of the rubber  ??? any idea what could be causing that.?

Razor red is great, in the summer. Try ettore soft in the winter, or any soft realy. Soft hardens up in the winter and hard softens up in the summer.

I had 5 bungalows to trad today, the first 3 I had to do twice and still looked crap. The low sun was on windows that have just had a gale blown on them for 2 days, full of sand and salt. A real nightmare.

I only trad them as thats how I started 10 years ago, maybe only trad 10 out of 400. The customers didnt fancy WFP and I didnt mind too much.

Today the got poled, like it or not! They came up "spotfree". I'm glad realy as the less pee'in around with a squeegee, mop, microfibre, scrim, BOAB, bucket I have to do the better.

I've tried soft with the same issues don't know what am doing wrong. Quite Soapy Windows for slip as always used this type of cleaning for 15 years.  It's only the edge by the clips leaving a line.
