Hi All....I am hoping to start up my own w/c round here in Holland and have just spent the last 3 days cycling around and am just suprised at how many really dirty windows there are both domestic and commercial....do you find the same?

Another point for getting business, I am just learning Dutch here so my conversational Dutch is not that good, so canvessing will be a little difficult at the moment....How have you guys found leafleting? (*Girlfriend will take phone calls from leads)

Is this just me being 'too upbeat about it all'?

hi dave
many years ago i worked in tenerife and had the same problem (very little spanish at the time)

running my own bussiness out there i (like you) need flyers so i went online and translated the text, something like this

ik maak vensters voor het leven schoon
roughly translated means............. "I clean windows for a living"

although the system works okay there are never 100% but close enough for them to understand.
