Why have gardiner poles gone to a system where you have to leave your name and number i wanted to add something to my order i did on internet last night so it could be shipped out with my order but its saying leave number why cant we get through to someone straight away it might be days before they get in touch i dont get it

I know what you mean but they got back to me yesterday within a fairly reasonable time frame by phone and then email.
My wife asked me the same thing and I said it's probably down to the amount of idiots in this game! In reality it'll be down to efficiency so there staff aren't getting bogged down on the phone when most things can be sorted online.

Did you leave your name and number? If so someone will get back to you within a fairly tight time frame. If you have not left your name and number then drop me an email with your name and number and I will pass this on for you and someone will get back to you regarding this.
We have found due to the volume of phone calls that we now receive that we were unable to answer all of the calls coming in - so we have currently switched to a 'call back' service. If you leave a name and number and why you are ringing the team will get back to you and returning calls are always prioritized by urgency so if you want to add something to an order this would be made a priority over a general query.

i rang them on tuesday and left my name,parcel delivery number and the issue i was having and they rang back within 10 mins..... :)
i think it just takes a bit of getting used to but gardiners have always provided great customer service IME........
