Windscreens were frozen this morning even though it was meant to be +5 and tonight is meant to be - 1 so not taking any chances.
No fancy diesel heater though, 600w mini oil heater.
There's no insulation round the tank but after it goes into get fixed I'll maybe rap that tinfoil insulation round the tank with some double sided tape. At least by then the van will be empty so free of all the usual clutter that gathers.

Does this mean we can look forward to another 20-page hedonistic hot water frenzy from NWH and Dazmond? ;D

not from me.... ;D
BUT!.....he should get himself a van with a heated windscreen...press a button and 30 seconds later the ice has melted... ;D ;D ;D

Ford van and car 8) unlike the neighbours who are at it with the scrapers.
Roads a sheet of ice and there's been bumps round the corner according to someone that's falling around the pavement.

doesnt look bad here, a bit of ice/frost on the van but just mainly foggy.........finish my coffee first before heading out.... :)

Nice smell in the morning and don’t think that’s gonna stop the little jets on your brush and pole hose freezing will you coz it won’t I’ve been there.
Nice warm van with a blower only to find when I reeled out left the pole and come back to it to be frozen at the brush and pole hose.

I could see the hose was defrosting the grass yesterday which in turn was cooling down the warm water faster. As I'm now using 6mm reel hose from circuit hydraulics the heat loss in the cold is more noticeable.

There’s only 1 hassle free way to get through winter as far as keeping everything frost free, putting oil heaters and blowers in vans to keep it from freezing is fine,if you add up all the time and agro running in and out to the van checking it’s not iced up it makes spending a few grand worth while in my eyes.

Just start charging for conservatory roofs and you’ll soon earn it!
