Title: T/M PSI ?
Post by: Chris R on June 27, 2006, 07:22:43 pm
Truckmount users.

What PSI do you clean carpets at?

Still experimenting  ;D

Trying to get the balance right between a good flushing action and drying times?

Cheers
Chris

I AM  still experimenting with a wonderwand that i have put conventional jets . i clean between  500 psi and 600 psi  drying times are around 1  to 1 and a half hours depending on different factors. on stairs i turn it down to 300 psi with the hand tool

Hi Guy's its all down to flow rate on your machine. On my Boxxer I use to use 400 to 500 now on my Panther its more like 350 to 400 because the flow rate on my new machine is far higher without pressure loss when dumping

Hello David

I guess it will depend on your jet sizes and how many jets you have.

sorry couldn't talk much today as my biscuit was about to drop in my coffee.

I very rarely go over 300psi.  Using a HydraMaster 4.2 Crossfire.  I have mostly used TMs at this pressure except in my younger days when i thought sod it      lets blast this night club carpet at 500-600 psi.

For normal carpets I clean close to 500 psi as well. For silks, linens and variuos others I clean at a lower psi. As Buster commented though a lot of it has to do with the volume etc etc. Best, Dave.

Hi Rich, Holiday was great shame I had to come home to a boat load of work. The new machine is running great its seems strange not to have all the Vets bills like I had with the old machine.

Hi Rich are you working any where near Sutton Coldfield tomorrow?
I'm out quoting a coffin dodgers retirement home.
