Title: Have bought a new shurflo pump wired it up light is on but no power to pump

Can you advise ..have purchased new shurflo pump wired it up light is on the varistream controller but no power to the pump..

If you wire the pump directly to the battery (no controller) what happens? Does the pump run?

When you say the light is on on the controller, what colour is the light and does it change colour when you switch the controller on and after the contoller has been switched on?
