Hi chaps
Anyone have a Citroen nemo, what size systems & poles can you fit in these vans
Are they reliable?

i really dont know why you would want such a small van for wfp.itll be on its arse first thing in the morning with a 350L tank......

I’ve seen them used as WFP vans mainly on national contracts where a load of mileage is involved. With payloads of only 660kg a tank of upto 350l would be possible. Can’t help on what poles would fit.
They are ridiculously good on fuel but if that isn’t the reason you are considering one I’d seriously look at the bigger Berlingos with the 950 payload. That’s what I use with a 450l tank. Does me for 99% of days work without running out.

I’m looking for a van to use as a spare, it will be sitting around most of the time, but will get us out of trouble if needed,
I have been look at berlingos and connects also

I have the Fiat version and cant fault it , if you want it for a get me out of trouble van then look no further .
Had mine 3 years and had no probs other than the usual consumables .
I have used a pic of when i first fitted it out as it best shows what you can fit in , as said 350 L is the max I would like to put in but it suits my needs .
The tank is 350 upright , the DI is an 8x17 and the poles are SLX 18 and Facelift 42 , the longest colapsed pole it will take is 2 metre if up against roof , a bit longer if running into passenger footwell .

I have a bipper professional, 350 litre flat tank full and backpack 3/4 full no weight issues but way too small for having enough water.
Carry a slx 24 over the front passenger seat.
Be ok as a spare vehicle.

If I was certain i never wanted a 2 man or to carry extra gear like gutter vacs etc I would get one in a heartbeat.
Cheap to buy and run, great on fuel, easy parking, no room for clutter sounds good to me.
Big vans give you more room/payload but if you don't need it you could save a fortune over the years.
Btw I know you asked about the Nemo but if you could stretch a bit and go for the Berlingo you could get elan 850 payload.
My only worry with the Nemo is I'd have to learn to scrimp on water.

Just been using a new berlingo last week for a few days,they are far to small for WFP no room for thing other than a 400ltr tank. No room for buckets etc,the poles have pass through into the front cab coz of minimal space,rather than buy a new 1 of these is rather have an older bigger van.

Non of the above is true. I have a 27ft pole hung on the side ply and it doesn’t go into the cab space. I have space in the back for a 450l tank, my reel, 2 buckets and a cone.
Whoever fitted the tank in the van that you have obviously haven’t done it optimally.

Just used 1 m8 far to small for me not enough water not enough room not enough comfort,I do 50-60 miles a day at least. The berlingo coped ok with the 400 litres but that’s the most id want in that sized van,there was no room for anything unless you use the top of the tank and military precision.

Then just say you prefer bigger vans, no harm in that.
Saying there’s no space for a bucket and poles need to go through the cab just isn’t true. I’ve had 3 different new berlingos over the last 6 years so I know what’s possible with them.
I agree about the size of the tank, I have 450l and wouldn’t want anymore in there. Saying that I’ve done 140 miles today, 70 of them with a full tank, drives just fine.

I kept nearly falling onto the passenger seat coz there’s no armrest 😂 to small for me m8 I like lots of room to put stuff.

I'm going to need to change from my ranger supercab in new year. Having moved out of the town I work in and it being my sole vehicle its no longer economical for me. What's the mpg like with a full tank ? 400 L would do me fine and I'd need to find a 3 seater.

Yes mines a LWB, L2 I think Citroen call it.
450l is fine for me, very rarely run out of water.
Fuel wise I get 48mpg over 28k miles so far according to the online computer. I do some motorway miles though so this may be high if you are strictly local.
Mines the 1.6d version with the bigger 950 payload. Having the 3 seats in the front is great as I have 2 kids so it means I can pick them both up from school/nursery but it is quite tight with them both in (age 4 and 9)

If you do go for a smaller van and I wouldn’t I’d go for a LWB minimum,I’ve had a smaller van and it was LWB I had about a foot more room in length but still didn’t find it able to carry upwards of 500ltrs comfortably.

I'm looking for 45 + mpg, 3 seats, steel bulkhead, space for400 L tank and a mountain bike ( with wheels off ), low roof and easy to park. Budget 5k. Had an old shape expert in past but not so keen on the driving position. Lwb Berlingo seems to be ticking the boxes.
