Title: Transit custom help

Hi thanks for reading,I need to jump start a car on my drive,do I need to connect to battery  in compartment by front seat ? Or am correct that I can  attach jump leads  under bonnet ? I'm not a vehicle person so any help and guidance appreciated

If you open the bonnet , where the bat would normally be there is a red flap , open that and that is the positive post , the negative is on the hinge of bonnet .
