This could be alright if you can get electric to the van BOGOF , use both and still be cheaper than a standard fan heater at 400w each !

I'm always a little worried about fan heaters because of the condensation in the winter.
-
When I used to use them I just dropped the windows a tiny bit , this seemed to do the job of stopping it .

I use one of these, great little bit of kit.

I don’t fancy that myself looks cheap and possibly have safety issues
I always favoured oil filled rads

I reckon one of those would be brilliant for a defrost if caught out by a freeze. Looks overkill for an overnight job.

It has a setting that will make it act just as a fan, just to keep the air moving around so that’s what I use unless temps get below -3°C or so but that isn’t very often.

Sock + cat litter =. Condensation issue kinda resolved

I've never been able to heat back of my truck before due to being street parked.
I now have a driveway, so thought about getting this one..

I personally would spend a bit more and get a 1500 watt version:

But whatever you decide get one soon because once winter sets in most places seem to sell out of them.

its not powerful enough....you could still end up with a frozen van with that in the back...get a higher watt model...

Its a pick up Daz and I'm fortunate enough to live on south coast. I'm not worried about the tank, just protecting pump and mounted reel. I had thought of insulating the inside of the pick ups hard top but then thought about just cutting an insulation board to cover the part that needs it and with the small rad under it and removing in the morning.
