Title: backup your tds meter
Post by: jinky230 on June 27, 2006, 08:05:55 am
guys got a bit of water into my tds meter, very small amount and it stopped working, I was in a panic, as I could not test my water.I had filled several containers at the weekend to save me some time monday morning.I checked 1 of the containers when the meter was working and it was showing 40 on the tds. What happened was I had left them at the backdoor, and having a hot weekend, the condensation in the containers created the tds reading to increase. Now I had 1 container checked at 40 and another 8 to check, and no tds meter, I got it dried out and it finaly worked ,but could this have cost me a shift, for the price of £20 to have 2 meters, I am starting to realise that you need to backup everything, for emergencies.
