Just thought i would show you the results of render washing using Biological Washing Powder in a bucket of water.
Just dip your brush in the bucket, and apply. Then wash off..and the results speak for themselves.
Lets see..hundreds of pounds on softwashing equipment, or 3 quid for washing detergent and a bucket???

But with my Comet pump I can just spray a % of xyz up there and rinse with no scrubbing, but it did cost me a few quid...
I've seen your before n after shots before but I've never tried it, I don't know why as the results look good.

Chemicals mix sprayed on - dwell time 20 mins then rinsed off - Chen’s applies in this case via pressure washer and mixing nozzle (35 quid) or we use back pack for smaller areas

This bio powder looks good.
But the key for me is not having to scrub, I hate scrubbing away. That’s where softwashing is so good, spray on, dwell, rinse off. Job done.
If that can be achieved with bio powder then I’d certainly use it, but if it means scrubbing. NAH ;D

Softwashing doesn’t do away with scrubbing on some if not most jobs it is still needed all you are doing is making the dirt look translucent it is still there we have been softwashing for around 10 years and tried several ways of doing it the results are always better with a light scrub as well

Scrubbing is sometimes necessary, but we rarely need to.
I think what did it for us was:
A. buying a purpose built softwash machine from Ben and Rutland pumps.
B. Using our 21lpm pressure washer with a sniper nozzle (also from Rutland pumps) which is an absolute revelation for rinsing, it absolutely destroys all the dirt because the flow rate is so powerful.
I would be interested in using bio powder, but if it means scrubbing like you would with any degreaser then it’s not as efficient as softwashing.

You don't need to scrub as such, more like dipping and applying i suppose

Yeah im sure you can.
Get a di bottle and fill it with bio powder and set a tap to divert a percentage of the water through it?

It’s not the equipment that’s the problem, I’ve got a softwash machine, so I’d just use that. I just wondered if the bio powder would work without scrubbing. If so, then it’s a far better option to hypo. Much safer.
