Winds of between 50 & 60mph & heavy rain today & tomorrow in South West Wales (this one's called Storm Callum - not sure why they have to keep giving them names these days...) Day off for me also.

They give these “storms” names just to hype up the weather - just a joke really, never mind take the day off and you can whip over to grippa tank and get a hot water system fitted without worrying about your customers 🤪

I would not have the neck to turn up to clean windows in this.
Besides, my van seems to be missing its wheels , shocks , springs and suspension mounts , gotta love mot time !

I’ve heard about them travel lodges 😵

Mind you he’s probably had the best day ever doing £1,000 in the first 3 hrs before stopping 😂

Glad we don't get proper blustery gales like the states do. But they do like to trump them up to hurricanes though 🤔🤔

We may be a nation of weather moaning pansies, but on a whole we have it quite good here  ;D.
I don't seem to recall any threads like:
" day off today, earthquakes are expected"
"day off today tsunami warnings have been given"

Haha we get a little bit of wind and we don't know if we should work or not and what names to call each other pending what choice ones make. 😂

Did my (indoor) shops first thing this morning and a nice easy FSG clean, finished just as the storm was blowing in.

That’ll do ‘til Monday now, sod cleaning windows in this.
