Title: Power Up Hd Reel - Is this normal?
Post by: Cookie on October 06, 2018, 08:40:02 pm: I have recently purchased a Power Up HD Reel from Waterworks. A great piece of kit and I think I'm already reaping the benefits of not having to wind in manually.

However the spindle does seem to wobble where it connects to the pump/tank. I have contacted Waterworks, having sent them a copy of this video & I am waiting to hear back. Does this look normal to you? Any feedback appreciated...

If not supplier will say you have bent it out of shape.

Post by: Cookie on October 06, 2018, 08:57:31 pm: Thanks for your swift replies. It's been like this since I've had it and it would need one almightly bang to knock the spindle out of line (since it's a sturdy bit of kit) and as Shaggy would say "It wasn't me!"

Since I've forked out £492 I want something that's works properly. I'll chase them up next week.

Never once a single issue. £50.00 each.

Post by: dazmond on October 08, 2018, 11:01:38 pm: never seen one that bad.....my PF reel is fine it has a slight wobble but nowhere near as bad as the video,my manual cox reel does the same,again only a tiny bit....id be taking that one back(as in driving down and getting it fixed or replaced)...

i had an issue with my PF reel when i first got it(chain kept coming off).i ended up driving over there to get it sorted....

From the video they seem to think it's not out of the ordinary & won't cause an issue but since I'm over Corby way at the end of the month I'm going to pop in and see them anyway. They seem to want me to be happy with the product which is a good sign IMO.

This was a hot topic on this forum a few years ago. I'm sure a search will bring it up.
