Title: Rectus 21 fittings
Post by: Dazzler3370 on September 18, 2018, 08:32:19 pm
My Rectus 21 fittings aren't lasting very long with my Exceed Tubless fitting.

Does anyone know if there is a difference in quality and if so. Where can I buy better quality ones from.

Cheers Guys

Just a though, but I use push fittings now and avoid all rectus fittings altogether

When you say push fittings what do you mean? John Guest fittings?

I use the  Exceed Tubless Kit on my poles, I need to use rectus 21 connectors to make them work.

spray some WD40 on them periodically if they jam....i use rectus 26 on most of my fittings and find if i keep them well oiled they last longer.....i do have a 21 on my return to tank hose though.....

If looked after they will last years.  Just don't drag them a cross the ground without protector balls or don't just drop them on the floor either.

You can get the Parker ones on eBay about a tenner eack. I use one  and it's still going strong after 6 months.
