Hi Admin.
The like button was a great feature and still is a great feature of our forum.
But sometimes the subject matter warrants an alternative response, like the death of a window cleaner, or a specifically serious subject where 'Like' isnt appropriate.
So can we also have an 'Agreed' button or something like it? That would complete the full scope of subject matter in my opinion.

The "Like" button was added to show appreciation to those who have helped you. I understand in some contexts/subjects it may not seem right to "Like", in these instances it's often better to post a reply. I'm not sure that members with an "agreed" count will help towards the forum and it's members. When you look at other social media platforms they often have "Like" features but rarely an "agreed" feature. Too many options/buttons can be a little overkill and sometimes less is more if that makes sense.
It's always interesting to get feedback and I appreciate you bringing this up, it will be interesting to see what others think?

Ah yes but in this instance, i dislike your response at this stage; but i do agree we need to ask what others think.

Being admin is being like the headteacher at the school....not everyone "Likes" us haha! It's your witty posts that give you that ratio....you nearly made the top 6 with over 1000 likes....nearly.

If you're the Headteacher I'm the "trendy teacher" with leather patches on my tweed jacket elbows that tries to ingratiate himself with the pupils.
And if you try to fire me I'll have them standing on their desks shouting "My Captain my Captain!"
Carpe Diem!
Wibble.

What about having a +1 button? I'm sure Lal would like that.

If you’re a headteacher you need to address your grammar.
