Title: For those that divert landline to mobile!
Post by: Jason Hedges on June 25, 2006, 11:16:31 pm
Hi all,

Just switched my telephone provider from BT to xln telecom. I was fed up with huge bills from BT mostly of which was my diverted calls to my mobile!

I've found it an easy transfer and a lot cheaper calls. Especially landline to mobile (except virgin/3/dolphin) when calls are capped at 30p!

You don't even have to pay your BT line rental its all included in a cheaper price.

Ideal if you're like me and divert my home phone to my mobile when I'm out.

Only been with them for a week but all BT services work the same including call diversion.

Kind regards,
Jason.

i too went with one tel and find them cheaper i pay a fixed fee for even cheaper calls including mobiles. a little tip though ring them up and tell them you want to leave in a few weeks because you feel the calls are still too expensive and they will make them even cheaper dont feel bad about it as the profits these people make are huge

do you have to register with bt to divert your call or is it just a case of tapping in a number?

Hi Stu,

I used the same diversion code as BT - *21*mobilenumber#

Works exactly the same as BT's diversion.

Kind regards,
Jason.
