Post by: RPCCS on September 01, 2018, 04:09:05 pm

Is there anything that can remove it pre spray wise?  Tried oil remover as a spottet and it lifts it slightly , but a large area in  front of sofa and chair
Photo reduced in size to add on this post . Actual area.of stain is bogger

It might be best to try a gel to remove the oil. Heavy use of liquid solvents will most likely result in delamination of the carpet.

Try this from Restormate - http://www.restormate.co.uk/epages/15094.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/15094/Products/E840

You would want to agitate it into the stains and leave it to work as per the label and rinse with hot solution.
