Title: What do people in the industry use to apply chemical to carpets before cleaning
Post by: Richard Chapman on August 23, 2018, 12:51:35 pm
Hi all, I am currently working with various carpet cleaning businesses who are using our electrostatic sprayers to spray their solution onto the carpets before cleaning. We apply a positive charge to your solution meaning that the particles do not float in the air but attach straight to the fibres. As they remain charged when they attach they do not clump together and work deeper into the pile for a better cleaning finish and for better depth in odour application. The sprayers also use 65% less solution.

Let me have your thoughts on this? Feedback appreciated(http://www.cleanitup.co.uk/smf/1535025081_Untitled.jpg).

Many thanks

Are the sprayers battery or mains powered. Does the charge affect ionic and non ionic detergents. Does the charge affect the polymers in carpet protectors.
