Title: Aworka and Gocardless

So I've added gocardless for new customers and had my first one sign up. I've added Gocardless to my settings in Aworka. Do I just mark the job done and payment is taken automatically? Is there a way of checking a customer is set properly for go cardless?

No. You need to go into the customer details: Jobs>find them>edit> Then tick pays by gocardless and it brings up a box of all your gocardless customers that are linked to your account. Click the correct customer so it matches, and now they are linked. Now when you click that you have done your customer and the invoice after every job option is show, it will automatically collect the money via gocardless and allocate it when its paid. Takes a few days to get used to but I like it now

Cheers, I'll email Chris because when I tick the Gocardless option, it's still unchecked when i go into the customer's details again.

I’m not sure if anyone has any ideas. I’ve emailed Chris at Aworka and disappointingly not had a response.

Basically when I tick the pays by Gocardless box nothing happens consistently. Sometimes I’m taken to an update page with no relevant options and sometimes to the planner. I’ve logged out and in of Aworka and Gocardless, deleted the record an recreated it etc.

Have you gone in aworka to settings-and then linked your account in GoCardless to aworka? Sounds like they are not linked. It will then take you to the GoCardless website and link your aworka account with your GoCardless one.

Yes. It's working now. I have no idea why it wasn't before.
