Title: Annual CC Contract
Post by: bill.appleton on June 23, 2006, 07:27:09 am
Hi all,

I've been through the "documents to download" section and can't find what I'm looking for.

Have spent a couple of years doing this now, and want to start flogging annual cleaning, monthly pay packages to satisfied custys, trouble is I can't find any decent wordings for the contract I want to sell. Not so much the benefits and product side, as the terms & conditions & the legalese.

Any alltec boys out there willing to share? Does anyone have a similar sort of  document they would be willing to let me take a squint at?

Failing that, can anyone recommend a good solicitor who could draw one up from scratch? (although I shall resent paying £££s for what will undoubtedly be a cut and paste job)

Thanks in advance

Bill

The Fast Trak system does not sign people upto contracts, They are free to leave at any time. If the service is good they wont leave, the fact that you are managing the carpets against any stains that happen over the following year and offering a free clean 6 months in will keep them happy and willing to pay. Your really giving them an insurance plan, dont pay your payments for car insurance and the insurance gets canceled. Same for us. Its not a contract but an aggreement.

To tie people into contracts is very difficult on the domestic side and really is it worth the hassle if the customer pulls out, the legal fees alone to get the money back would not make worthwhile.

You normally get the feel with customers if they are genuine and worth having ona cleeaning plan.

Hope this helps

Neil

Not really, but thank you anyway.  Perhaps my use of the word "contract" was misleading.  What I want to do is pretty much exactly as you describe, however are you saying that your custys pay you monthly without ANY paperwork associated with the "agreement"?

As a consumer, I would want something in writing from a company that I am regularly giving money to, detailing what I am getting for that money.  This is what I am looking for examples of.

Cheers

I supply my customers with a letter which I and they sign but it states that there is no legal obligation on their part to stay and they can cancel at anytime.

Obviously I give them information about the services they are getting including details of the Free 6 month clean and everything else included.

cheers

Neil
