Hi All of you!
Just a question, my flat mate has spilt a pint of Blackcurrant cordial on the carpet in his bedroom and not mentioned it to me, this has now dried in and has left a stain on the carpet. the carpet is dark green and im wondering what to use to get the stain out. Would washing powder do it or is there anyhting else that would. Some people have said a salt solution woudl do it.
Please help before my landlord finds out!

Try posting this in the carpet cleaning section and you'll get a better response.

Havent checked yet.....but have you posted this question on the carpet cleaning section of the forum??
They will probably ask you if it is natural fibre (wool) or man made fibres. If wool....not much chance of getting it out. But give it a go anyway.....but please not with washing powder. If man made fibre.....then you should get most of it out with the correct spotting kit - from your local cleaning supplier (always try a bit somewhere hidden incase of colour bleed!!)
All the best
