Can't keep up with the requests. Website response has never been so busy.
Low Winter sunlight and the snow has made an absolute mess of the windows and it shows.
Some are Snow one offs but there are some wanting regular.
Think this Winter has done a lot of windies in.
Anyone else the same?

The beast from the east has blessed the best from the west!
-
Plenty coming my way 😅
-
Had more enquiries for Conny roof cleaning and gutter cleaning than anything else. Still had a few walk ups though.
We so busy, almost having to turn work down or just price really high hoping we dont get the job! lol
-
Doubt the winter has done many windies in......wonder where people come up with these wild statements? i
Weather supposed to turn poo again next few days, its been a wank year thats for sure.
busy enough with windows, just getting them done thats the problem, hopefully april will be the start of being rammed out......woooooohooooooo. dont care really Im off on holiday for 2 weeks in may so it can all feck off
-
its been the best start to a new year ever for me( earnings wise) but im still just a part timer really these days..... :)
-
Not been great so far.
Plenty to do and new enquiries.
Weathers been a real pain.
Pouring down yesterday, same forecast today also.
Every Easter weather plays up!😁
2 short weeks due to bank holidays always made even shorter by rain ☔
-
Well I'm fully up to date after today so looks like a long weekend off.
Never thought I'd say that this year.
Think I need more work :o

it was chucking it down here yesterday morning but i still went out and worked lee.....
your missing out on thousands of pounds per year because you wont work in the wet stuff.....it has a knock on effect on your work and you end up weeks behind before you know it.....

Work in light rain if I have to.
Sorry Daz.
Maybe you do?
But I just can't quite believe those saying they work in heavy rain😁
Watched Nathan's youtube video about working in the rain.
It's not raining ☔😁 or if it was it's drizzle.
Happy Easter 🐰 everyone

It was the back end of the rain so it was much lighter. Haha i wasnt going to film in heavy rain: for one you wouldnt see much as the rain will be on the lense. 2nd you wouldnt be able to hear much, its bad enough recording when its windy and finally, i aint gonna break my phone filming in rain. Whereas heavy rain aint gonna hurt the windows.
If im out and it starts to rain, I carry my water proofs in the van so on they go.
If its raining before I go, i take my time a little and perhaps have another coffee before i go out.
If its heavy and im out working in it, it depends how cold n wet I get as to how long I stay out.
-
Nathan, doesn't the rain get up your sleeves, in your face, or fill up your wellies?
Also inside your van must get very damp from jacket etc
;D
-
I used to avoid the rain, now i dont, whats the point in having say a grand a week to do and only doing 600-800 of it every other week.
Ive learnt to make hay whilst the sun shines though, been out ill 4pm every day this week..thats a record for me im normally finishing around 2.
-
Sick of it.

How many more jobs can you take on Dazmond ? you have been increasing your workload by 30% per year for as long as you
have been a member on here and still haven't hit your limit, going by your past posts you must be knocking out 100 or more
properties in a 6 hour day, even Nathan couldn't hit those targets. lol

what are you on about sean?ive still got the same amount of customers as i did 10 years ago(give or take a few here and there).ive not increased my workload at all.in fact im doing less now than i used to do...
the difference is ive become much more efficient when actually working and compacted my work even more and raised my prices 4 times in 10 years as well as picking up larger better priced jobs....
ive also lost/dumped work too.most losses come from customers dying/moving away and occasionally losing work to a cheaper cleaner....customers losing their jobs etc.ive also dumped a fair few(usually for persistent late payments/non payment)...
all our rounds are built on shifting sand.......... ;)

Are you losing customers because you clean in the rain do you think? ;D ;D
Happy Easter 🐰 daz ;)

Happy Easter 🐰 daz ;)
My work ethic is very similar to daz’s - I work in every kind of Weather. Iv only had to take days off because of the freezing weather recently. My books are full and I’m still getting new enquiries every month. I tell all my customers that it rains nearly everyday so I work in it :)

also what difference does it make if you clean when its dry(like i did this morning) and it rains a few hours later?(its bouncing down here at the moment! ;D)should i offer my customers their money back? 8)
-
I wouldn't last a month where you fellows live.
Just glad I live in a drier part of the u.k
If this weather keeps up I'll be pushing my less profitable work into the damp days 😁
Danced In and out of the showers today.
Threw the towel in about 2.30pm today.
Hammered down.
Is there a hurricane system over the pond?
It's either snowing ❄ or pouring down 😲
-
Always seems to rain up north , just gotta get on with it

I get the odd, it's gonna rain now you've cleaned 'em.(usually a quip).
One senior citizen said that with tone in her voice.
(wouldn't mind it was a reasonable day).
Use to get up my nose, I just shrugged my shoulders and said " I can only take off the dirt that's on there"
I wish some of them weren't in and left the money under the mat ;D
