-

Only 35g per meter , lighter than the yellow reinforced stuff & the all season hose

Used gardiners green and yellow, found both to be good. But I use hot water so they are pliable for me anyway.
But recently I just bought some rhino red pole hose which is suitable for all conditions and is much much lighter and handles my hot water easily.
It tangles sometimes but i think thats mord because of how my main hose is clipped to my belt on waist.

Ionics orange pole hose is very good as is exceed Inovation blue we use both they don’t kink or coil up at all , both very good with hot water too
-
exceed blue PU hose and gardiners orange PU hose.both are excellent with hot water and very durable....however they do kink and get tangled occasionally but all pole hose does..........
-
Exceed blue PU for me. Best I have used.
-
Gardiners orange PU hose and Rhino hose which is more flexible without coiling up or twisting.

I have the final 20 metres or so of my hose reel split between Gardiners Green and Rhino hose blue, I purpously did this to compare both products I tend to leave all this amount off the reel and then I can just drop it if I have a job that does not need any more out, The side by side comparison says the Rhino hose is about 5% better than the Gardiner on kinks and twists, both hoses are good and I have had them at around 12 months now with no obvious signs of wear on either, they are both affected by the tempreture (I use cold), and are more likely to snag and lose flexibility below about 6 degrees and get a little bit soft over 15degrees (not a problem this winter :-[), although the Rhino hose is marginally better there s a cost premium and in my opinion both offer very good solutions without been perfect, I personally will pay for the slightly better Rhino when I need to replace but I believe in always having the best equipment available,if you cost conscious then the Gardiner green is the way to go.

I use Gardiners green on my pole hose and 60m of Gardiners reinforced pole hose on my main reel.
I am about to change my Gardiners reinforced pole hose on my reel, as after about 5 years of use it has started to 'noticeably' wear. Also, recently, it has swollen. I was going to go green (thank you for the suggestions) but I tried 20m of green on the reel and it doesn't lay as flat as I would like (although it does lay flat...ish).
So I shall be ordering 100m of Gardiners reinforced pole hose for my main reel (not covered under warranty, which I understand) but is lovely to reel in and out (especially with my dodgy elbows). And I am more than happy with my green for the pole hose.

Do a DIY upgrade on your reel n help those dodgey elbows. You really wont regret it

TCW Reinforced yellow pole hose is the stuff I use! Lasts much longer!
