it wont last even half as long bud , the slx is a better bet bud ive tried so many poles gardiners outlast everything

I have an old Gardiners SLX22 that i've had for so long I can't even remember when I bought it.
It has the original 'old' clamps etc. I also have the Xtreme 22 which I use every day and I am very happy with it.
I cleaned up my old SLX with Gardiners dry lube and Gardiners tape etc etc, to keep in the van as a spare.
Bloody good pole and I've had no problems with clamps etc (like others have).
I think the best pole to use is the Xtreme 22, (I have elbow problems)
BUT, the BEST VALUE pole is without doubt the Gardiners SLX 22.

GARDINERS!!!!!!!

Personally I can only vouch for gardiner but the Facebook lot are raving about the new boss poles from bladeright and he reckons they’re better quality carbon and lighter etc.
There’s also x line and that new ova8 pole that’s just come out!

Get an SLX22.

i would wate a bit and see how the new poles were in as there new gardners are a safe bet as they out last everything to date
-
I've had my slx 3 years, it's ready for replacing really but still useable.
I also have a hybrid phoenix (blue one) which I've been using a month or so. So far i find it just as easy to use as the slx at 22ft, it's just as light and not too whippy. Disappointed that a couple of clamps had started spinning already but after gluing them it's fine. Only time will tell how long it lasts.

Last time babs 2020 was on here was exactly a year ago.
The previous time was a year before that.
Just skimming through his posts he only participates in this forum when he wants info. He hasn't shared much over the years. Its such a pity to have takers and no givers.
So my questions is; why would anyone want to answer his question?
Let him try a Facelift MK2 pole, but don't hold your breath for a review.

So what? Who appointed you the judge over who deserves a reply and who doesn't?
Why not just get on with your own life than fret about how many times somebody has asked questions and whether in your self-important opinion anyone should reply to him? If you don't want to reply yourself, fine that's your choice, but what gives you the right to try influence others not to?

Another plus point for gardiner is when you come to renew you can flog them on for 3/4 of the price you bought them for ;D
No other poles hold they’re resale value like a gardiner, all money to your next pole 8)

This wasn't targeted at you or anyone else who choose to comment and pass on their experience. That's their own choice and their right to exercise that right. My comment was targeted toward the o/p who comes on here and expects an answer to his question and disappears again. So I'm not trying to influence anyone else's choice to answer the post or not.
Sorry you misunderstood the angle my post was coming from.
